De-banked: Canadian Dissident has bank account frozen by Government

Political candidate Meghan Murphy victim of authoritarian election interference

An outspoken Canadian woman running in the country’s upcoming federal election is being targeted after announcing her candidacy and fears further persecution from the government for her vocal political dissent

Meghan Murphy, who registered to run for the populist PPC (People’s Party of Canada) has been living in Mexico since 2021 as a political refugee due to Canada’s covid hysteria and descent into state sponsored wokeism.

The prominent critic of the Liberal Party shockingly had her bank account frozen by the government—with zero warning, zero explanation, and zero accountability.

“This is exactly why I left,” the political exile told supporters on her substack page. “I knew this government would come for me.”

Murphy’s de-banking nightmare began last Tuesday when she tried to access her Vancity bank account—only to discover it had been locked by government order.

The timing? Suspiciously precise.

Just two days earlier, she had accessed her account with no issues. Then, immediately after her PPC candidacy was confirmed, the freeze hit—raising alarming questions about political retaliation.

When Murphy called her bank, she was met with bureaucratic silence.

“They refused to tell me anything,” she said. “Just ‘government orders.’ No notice. No due process. Just… gone.”

Attempts to contact the government were even worse. One official was on vacation, another line led to voicemail purgatory, and a third call ended with a shocking admission:

“I asked what her job even was,” Murphy recounted. “She couldn’t—or wouldn’t—help me. This is how they treat citizens now.”

As most of her followers know, Meghan Murphy—journalist, women’s rights advocate, and longtime critic of gender identity legislation—fled Canada in January 2021, warning that the country was descending into authoritarian tyranny.

ELECTION INTERFERENCE

With her finances in limbo, Murphy made a difficult decision: she would not return to Canada to campaign.

“If they can freeze my account without explanation, what else will they do?” she said. “Arrest me? Charge me? I won’t risk it.”

“This is election interference, plain and simple,” Murphy declared. “They don’t want me speaking the truth. They don’t want Canadians hearing the other side.”

Putting People First

PPC party leader Maxime Bernier echoed Murphy’s fears on a recent appearance on the Tucker Carlson podcast.

Bernie, the only federal leader speaking out against government corruption and waste, out of control immigration and crime and the failures of socialism has been appearing on top US podcasts recently. The PPC leader has turned to the popular medium after being shut out of the televised leaders debate and being ignored by the state funded Canadian media. His appearance on Tucker Carlson had garnered more than 500 thousand views on X in just the first hour of going live.

It’s For Your Safety

Murphy’s case is just the latest in a string of alarming abuses under Liberal government formerly lead by son of Fidel Castro Justin Trudeau and now by the unelected WEF installed associate of Ghislaine Maxwell, Mark Carney:

  • Freedom Convoy protesters had bank accounts frozen without trial.
  • Journalists and dissidents face increasing censorship.
  • Women’s rights advocates are smeared as “bigots” for defending the reality of human biology.
  • New laws coming to limit free speech online in the name of ‘safety’.

Canada Strong and Free

“This is not the Canada I grew up in,” Murphy said. “This is an authoritarian regime pretending to be democratic.”

Yet, while small minded Canadians obsess over U.S. politics and Elon Musk, their own freedoms are being erased in real time.

Murphy pledges that despite being exiled from her own country, she vows to keep fighting. The political firebrand insists that she is still running but needs the help of freedom loving Canucks to keep the true north strong and free. “I won’t let them silence me,” she said. “But I need patriots to stand with me.”

The Final Countdown

As the April 28th election date nears, Murphy’s message is clear: This is not just about her—it’s about every Canadian’s freedom.

“If you don’t push back now, you’ll wake up in a country you don’t recognize,” she warns. “It’s already happening.”
