Doctor Queer’s rainbow painted public call box isn’t fooling fans!!!

Doctor Who is slated for cancellation due to its woke agenda-driven storylines that have alienated its once-loyal fanbase and sent its ratings into a series self-destruct

For over six decades, the show, a British cultural institution, has become a shadow of its former self, with critics and viewers alike pointing fingers at its obsession with gender politics and progressive ideology. The result? Plummeting ratings, furious fans, and rumors of cancellation swirling out of control in the Time Vortex.

Ratings Dematerializing

The latest series, led by Ncuti Gatwa as the first Scottish-Rwandan Doctor, has been a disaster despite initial high hopes he could turn the series around. Gatwa’s debut season barely scraped an average of 2 million viewers—a far cry from the show’s glory days when it regularly pulled in over 10 million. Fans aren’t just tuning out; they’re furious, blaming the show’s heavy-handed focus on transgender and non-binary characters, as well as its preachy tone, for its downfall.

Doctor Woke

One of the most divisive moments came in the 60th-anniversary special, where David Tennant’s Doctor realized he was gay after developing a crush on an Indian Sir Isaac Newton. (Yes, you read that right—Indian Sir Isaac Newton. Because why not?ed) The scene, which saw Tennant’s Doctor gush over Newton’s bouncy curls and ripe Adam’s apple, was widely mocked as forced and unnecessary. Fans accused the show of sacrificing storytelling for the sake of virtue signaling.

Maestro of Misery

The show’s descent into wokeness hit a new low with the introduction of Maestro, a non-binary villain played by American drag queen Jinkx Monsoon. The character, a screeching, over-the-top caricature, went viral for correcting another character’s use of pronouns. Fans were left groaning, with one X user posting, “Talk about not reading the sheet music or playing the tune of Doctor Who. This hits all the wrong notes. #RIPDoctorWho. #Bumsandwillies.”

Rewriting History

The backlash isn’t limited to new characters either, with longtime fans furious at showrunner Russell T. Davies’ attempts to rewrite the show’s history. Davros, the iconic creator of the Daleks, had been in a mobile life support unit since his first appearance in 1975. But in a 2023 Children in Need special, Davros was inexplicably reimagined as able-bodied.

Davies claimed the original portrayal of Davors in “a wheelchair” was “harmful” because it associated disability with evil. Fans weren’t buying it, accusing the show of erasing its own legacy in the name of political correctness.

Pregnant with Problems

Even the show’s handling of pregnancy has sparked outrage. In 2018, during Jodie Whittaker’s tenure as the first female Doctor, fans were introduced to Yoss, a pregnant male alien.

While the concept was intended to challenge traditional gender norms, many viewers found it gratuitous and out of place in a show that was once celebrated for its imaginative storytelling while tackling real-world issues rather than poorly scripted social justice preaching prescribed by ‘Dr. Karen.’

Ncuti My Doctor?

The show’s decline has been further fueled by rumors that Ncuti Gatwa is ready to head for the escape pod after just two seasons. Reports suggest Gatwa has already filmed his regeneration scene, with one insider telling GWU!, “The BBC cast him at the height of their box-ticking, agenda-driven casting regulations. Ncuti thought he could prance in and gay up the show with zero consequences. But now that Who airs first in America on Disney+, where ratings actually matter, they’ve found out what a mistake they made.”

The unnamed Edinburgh-based source, who worked as a script doctor on Black Dong: The Animated Series, quipped, “Fans always wondered how bad the show would be if it were made by Americans. There’s been some takes on that concept in fan fiction, but they’re at least funny on purpose!”

The Edge of Destruction

The insider also spilled that the production team has been plagued by poor leadership, with longtime staff sidelined in favor of those pushing a progressive agenda. “Remember, Russell was the wiz kid who brought the show back to life in 2005 with quality storytelling, dazzling effects, and, where it made sense, diverse casting. But you can’t catch lightning in a bottle twice. Without adult supervision, like he had back at the BBC, Russell can’t stop fan-inserting himself and his left-wing politics into every episode. The story be damned,” the source said.

The Final Countdown?

Despite assurances from the BBC that Doctor Who is not dead and is ‘only resting’, the future of the series looks increasingly uncertain. The show’s co-production deal with Disney+, worth an estimated $126 million, was supposed to be a lifeline. Instead, it’s done little to reverse the show’s fortunes. With ratings in the gutter and fan backlash growing louder, Doctor Who seems destined to join franchises such as Marvel and Star Wars that also fell victim to the “go woke, go broke” phenomenon.

“The fans are the real losers here,” laments our insider. “Doctor Who’s regeneration into a shrieking platform for progressive ideology has left 60 years of space and time adventures on the TARDIS dematerializing into obscurity.”
