DISNEY CAN’T BUY IT’S WAY OUT OF WOKE

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a controversial bill dissolving Walt Disney World’s self-governing ‘city status’ in the state. The move is seen as retribution for Disney’s opposition to DeSantis’ controversial so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill.

DeSantis has accused the theme park of lying about the controversial bill. The bill prevents school classrooms from discussing sexual orientation. “You’re a corporation based in Burbank, California, and you’re gonna marshal your economic might to attack the parents of my state,” said DeSantis. “We view that as a provocation, and we’re going to fight back against that.”

Opponents of the bill claim it will isolate and stigmatize LGBT youth. Supporters, however, say it will protect children from inappropriate content. Could this be the first of more pushing back against corporations like Disney meddling in politics?

“Corporations are seeing their iron-fisted grip on politicians slip as their profitability drops,” claims Senor Byner.

“When Disney was doing well they were pumping cash into the government coffers the way that Gaston eats eggs. But with children losing interest in their moribund woke brands like Star Wars and Marvel they aren’t generating the kind of revenue that merits DeSantis caring what they think about she/what’s with purple hair.”
