With Taylor Swift’s Eras tour landing in Toronto and Vancouver for the next five weeks, doctors are warning parents about a troubling new mysterious medical risk that could affect their teenage daughters called Swiftnesia.
Dani, a Taylor Swift fan from Chile, caught the Eras tour in Dublin, Ireland, after winning the global lottery. “We were so excited,” her mother tells GWU! over Microsoft Teams from Santiago. “We made a family holiday out of it. After the concert we picked her up and asked her how it was. That’s when the problem started.”
Dani explains to GWU! that she couldn’t remember anything from the concert. She knew she was there because she had footage on her phone, but from the moment Taylor appeared on the stage, she reflects, to the time the house lights came back on she has no recollection of anything that occurred.
And she’s not alone!
I Forgot That You Existed
In fact, Dr. Ginsburg from a mental health research center in Ohio confirms to GWU! that Dani is one of thousands of fans who have experienced this bizarre new disorder. Dr. Ginsburg’s team first diagnosed Swiftnesia, and now the disorder has stuck. “Any time your brain blocks out moments from its memory it is concerning,” says the no bad blood doctor. “Particularly when the victim is a young teen.”
Although Ginsberg has no medical explanation for the temporary performance phenomenon, she isn’t ruling out that the cause could be coming from the we are never ever getting back together performer.
Concert Secret Agency
Retired CIA operative Willis Coleman, who was with the agency’s top level ‘Cultural Behavior Modification Unit’ for nearly four decades, has been following the rise of Taylor Swift and has even attended many concerts on the Eras tour, both for research and his love for the music. “It’s a PsyOp,” he confidently confides to GWU! over Telegram. “Prior to the show, Swift’s crew release a powerful neurotoxin chemical into the arena. I believe the intent is for fans to feel a false euphoria, forgetting that they spent $500+ per ticket. But, the reverse effect of losing memory is a welcome side effect for the CIA explains the song bound spook.
Coleman, who first tattled on the Swiftie psyop to GWU! goes on to inform GWU! that his group of secret agents is the same men in black who tested an experimental vaccine on the world’s population. He says that his former organization is constantly looking for mind control options. “Think of what they could do with that kind of power!”
Oh, Mandy!
Mandy, who saw Taylor Swift at the MetLife Stadium in New York, also experienced memory loss from the event. “Since then I’ve been spending thousands to see Taylor, always with the same outcome.”
Mandy will be in Toronto this weekend and is hopeful for a more memorable concert appearance.
Record Memory Loss
A Montreal, Canada, record producer, however, isn’t so convinced that Swiftneasia is real. “There’s a lot of excitement. Screaming young girls, spending tons of money, all for a bunch of songs that sound exactly the same. Perhaps, it’s the mind’s way of telling the person to take a chill pill.”
But Dani insists that her fellow Swifties need to know the truth and the dangers around attending these concerts. “Who knows what is happening during that time where young people’s minds are going blank? Are we being brainwashed to be Swift superfans or even worse … into some weird liberal catlady cult.”
