There is a grassroots anti-woke uprising to remove COVID crazy Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth as a trustee with the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) after she silenced and slandered a concerned parent, during a school board meeting earlier this month.
“That parent has every right to speak at that meeting,” said one worried teacher with the school board who spoke to GWU! on the condition of anonymity. “These are his kids, not hers.”

The Change.org online petition began after a video of Kaplan-Myrth muting Nick Morabito’s microphone went viral. Morabito, as witnessed in the video, was respectfully questioning a new OCDSB policy to allow any individual who chooses to identify as female to share bathroom and change room spaces with his 12-year-old daughter.
“What that means,” adds the tattle-tale teacher, “is that any male student who claims they’re female could walk into a female bathroom with absolutely zero repercussions. Why wouldn’t a parent want to voice that?”
Kaplan-Myrth nor anyone else at the meeting got to hear Morabito’s concerns as the room was cleared and the police were called for what Kaplan-Myrth later called ‘transphobia’ in The Ottawa Citizen, a local small town liberal newspaper.
A family physician in Ottawa, Kaplan-Myrth has become known for her extreme Covid-19 conspiracy theory views about wearing masks in closed rooms by yourself and her militant-style vaccine campaigns where she vaccinated children younger and sooner than was approved by Ontario Public Health.
THE STREISAND EFFECT
The petition is generating a lot of interest on social media and even Kaplan-Myrth has commented on it from her accounts on Twitter and Mastodon (whatever that is—ed). The Twitter account is the same one the masked doctor shutdown after GWU! profiled her in February.
In her Tweet, which currently has seven bookmarks, Kaplan-Myrth wrote: “Not OK. @Change do you allow your platform to be used to discriminate against #LGBTQIA? Because that’s what these people are doing. If you don’t condone it, shut it down. We must continue to speak against transphobia, homophobia, racism, antisemitism, misogyny.”
CROSS(DRESSING) THE LINE
A transgendered parent from Waterloo, Canada, Julia Malott has been pushing back against the all or nothing transagenda in her personal online posts, including defending Morabito when he was unfairly censored at the school board meeting.
“I don’t think I could stop sharing because I’m not even sharing anything that is controversial. In the case here, what got people upset was I said that we should talk with people who we disagree with and we should allow dissenting opinions when establishing policy. If that’s a controversial view then I don’t have a lot of hope for this democracy at this point.”
But Malott’s views have been deemed too hot to handle for some in the sleepy nation’s capital who are calling for a ban on the Waterloo food bank where she’s director!
“I would have hoped that [my views and my involvement with the food bank] wouldn’t intersect. Unfortunately, cancel culture is alive and well. Right now, that is a technique that is being utilized when we don’t like somebody’s opinion and views on something. We go after that person, we go after the person’s life, we go after the person’s family.”
Remi Duranleau, who spearheaded the petition that has already sky rocketed past it’s goal of 5,000 signatures, added “The amount of anger across the community and on social media is evident, and Kaplan-Myrth’s actions are paramount to nothing less than proof of her inability to perform her duties without her own personal radical and close minded views intercepting her judgment.”
