In a recent New York Times opinion piece Governor of Ohio Mike DeWine claimed that Trump’s messaging regarding Haitians eating family pets in Springfield, Ohio, was false. Much like the rest of the mainstream media, the self-described Trump supporter had little, if any, evidence to back up his claim.
