The Canadian people are rising up against dictator Justin Trudeau and doing it in the most classic Canadian way—by staging peaceful freedom themed BBQ parking lot parties outside Canadian Tire stores. The late night gatherings held on parking lots throughout the country are akin to the Ottawa Freedom Rally protests, which led to the dropping of most pandemic mandates in 2022. The goal of the current rally is the resignation of Trudeau.
“The rally started organically,” said an organizer who refused to be named for fear of losing his job at Home Depot. “But we’ve seen a lot of people be like, hey, what’s going on? How can I do this in my town’s Canadian Tire?”
Although the automotive and home renovation superstore has not publicly approved the rallies, many supporters feel that the 100-year-old icon with locations across the country is silently nodding approval with the freedom fighters. “Canadian Tire has always put Canadians first,” says Ruth, who participated in an Oakville rally on Mother’s Day weekend. “There are no political party lines, just a focus on supporting Canadians, both young and old, from all different backgrounds.”
The retail giant is also a mecca for people who enjoy the personal freedom of doing things independently. Whether it be fixing your own car, repairing your deck, or purchasing camping gear for a summer vacation off the grid, these ticked off Canadians are tired of living under the autocratic tax and spend tyranny of Trudeau.
MASTERCRAFT IN POLITICAL PROTEST
The peaceful rallies, however, have not gone without controversy, as now the Trudeau faithful (TrudeauANNON—ed.) are attempting to organize an online boycott of the Canadian staple. Using the Twitter hashtag #boycottcanadiantire Trudeau bots and paid Liberal Party shills are working overtime in an attempt to undermine the organic, democratic rallies.
In fact, the disgusting online protest has gone so far to have some Liberal MPs suggesting people support American stores instead!
“I mean that just shows their ignorance,” guffaws the organizer to GWU! “Boycott a Canadian company during a recession. Trudeau needs to step up and let these people know how crazy an idea that is, but I’m sure his ego won’t let him.”
Despite this, some on Twitter suggest that the only thing Canadian Tire will lose by having left wing extremists boycott them is a slight drop in sales of bicycles.
GIVE LIKE A LIBERAL AND SAVE LIKE A TRUCKER
It’s widely accepted that Dictator Trudeau’s massive spending and free for all border crossings are to blame for Canada’s economic uncertainty. Recent data shows that the country has grown by more than one million people in the last year, an unprecedented statistic for a country of only 36 million. A recent report showed the GDP has significant losses over the past six months—a clear sign it’s only going to get worse.
Added to that, the mishandling of the COVID pandemic and Chinese election interference have led the majority of Canadians to mistrust the Prime Minister.
“These rallies are a way for people to voice their concerns,” says the organizer. “Particularly since the MSM is mum on any problems within Canada. We hope that more of these rallies begin popping up around the country.”
