Disney’s “Proud Family” Promotes Racism In Black History Episode

Mickey Mouse company gets woke and goes broke as viewers unsubscribe from woke Disney+

Cartoonishly-woke Disney continues to push the Critical Race Theory agenda into the red zone with the recent airing of a controversial episode of The Proud Family. The children’s cartoon which features mostly young Black characters is being called racist for its anti-white agenda and historically inaccurate race baiting. And Disney is paying major reparations in the form of angry viewers and canceled subscriptions for airing the propaganda-laden cartoon.

The Disney+ series is particularly being heavily criticized for a woke rap song in the Black History Month-themed episode performed by the main characters. The rap features the show’s young protagonists presenting to their school assembly demands for reparations based on the claim that ‘slaves built this country.’

During the episode, the characters, who are predominantly black, rule that Abraham Lincoln had no desire to end slavery. They then stage a petition to get his statue in the town removed. As part of the rap, which has been branded ‘blatant anti-white propaganda’, a white character is seen standing on a stage with a poster that says ‘still not atoned.’

MICKEY MOUSE IN BLACK AND WHITE

D.I.E A WELL-DESERVED DEATH: “Disney, you’ve degenerated into producing pure, boring amateurish propaganda. And dragging children into it. Cancel subscriptions to Disney Plus @Disney and let them know what you think of this. Walt is, no doubt, spinning in his grave,” tweeted Jordan B. Peterson.

In response to negative attention online, Disney has stated that the show ‘follows the adventures and misadventures of newly 14-year-old Penny Proud and her Proud Family as they navigate modern life with hilarity and heart.’

But the series has sparked a major backlash with viewers, who have accused the house of mouse of promoting Critical Race Theory to children.

At the mid point of the offensive episode the characters make their unhinged angry rant when they discover that their town was founded by a slave owner.

Here are just some of the racist and problematic lyrics the characters in the cartoon rap spout (we had to listen to this song a number of times, that way you wouldn’t have to!—ed):

Slaves built this country!
And we the descendants of slaves in America have earned reparations for their suffering and continue to earn reparations every moment we spend submerged in the systemic prejudice, racism and white supremacy that America was founded with and still has not atoned for.

Slaves Built this country!
We made your families rich! From the southern plantation air to the northern bankers to the New England ship owners the Founding Fathers, former presidents, current senators the Illuminati the New World Order.

Slaves built this country!
Jim Crow, segregation, redlining public schools feeding private prisons where we become slaves again.

Once the scene is over, the school auditorium erupts into applause, leading to a protest over an Abraham Lincoln statue. Despite the information presented in this being historically suspect and biased towards radical leftwing ideology the episode neatly wraps up 22 minutes of misinformation with white people saying they are sorry for centuries old events they had nothing to do with.

GET WOKE, GO BROKE!

Disney has made many efforts over the past several years to salvage its financial fortunes by becoming more ‘inclusive’. The struggling mega corporation has instructed staff to not gender Disney park visitors, implemented left-wing anti-racist training courses for employees, given classic characters woke makeovers, and removed ‘offensive’ imagery and sounds from rides and movies.

On the film and TV front, Disney inserted a gay kiss between two female characters into the movie Lightyear, and recently inserted Black actress Halle Bailey as Ariel in its remake of The Little Mermaid

Disney also became embroiled in a row with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over the company’s opposition of the Republican governor’s so-called ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill.

The battle over gayness ended with DeSantis canceling the company’s decades long self-governing status at the city-sized Disney World theme park.
